Datacloud Global Congress – Keynote: What Will the Data Centre Landscape Look Like in 5–10 Years?

AI is accelerating timelines and reshaping infrastructure at unprecedented speed. More than ever, the decisions made today will determine which businesses and nations are digitally resilient tomorrow.
The platforms that stand out over the next decade will be those that know where to build, when to build, for whom to build, and how to operate what they build.

She set out three forces shaping that period:
a two-speed architecture, in which a new class of AI campuses emerges alongside conventional cloud and enterprise facilities;
automation and talent, as the workforce does not scale at the pace of the infrastructure being built;
and sovereignty, as demand becomes more closely tied to national strategy and data localisation.

She also pointed to where the opportunity is concentrating: markets where digital demand, sovereignty, power availability and capital are aligning to create new hubs for cloud and AI infrastructure.

On Syntys, she described a company built around execution rather than announcements, citing the mission-critical infrastructure Syntys designed and operates for Ooredoo’s advanced sovereign AI cloud services in Qatar as a blueprint to be replicated across markets where demand is real, durable and strategic.

“In infrastructure, timing is not a detail. Timing is strategy.”
